Purpose of this app
Velora Calendars is a web application that lets service businesses (salons, clinics, tutors, gyms) create a public booking page, manage appointments in a dashboard, send WhatsApp and email confirmations/reminders to customers, and optionally connect Google Calendar so busy times block new bookings and confirmed appointments appear on the owner’s calendar.
When owners connect Google Calendar, Velora Calendars uses that access only to check free/busy availability and to create or delete calendar events for bookings made in this app.

What Velora Calendars does
A complete scheduling product for service businesses: public booking, owner dashboard, multi-channel notifications, and calendar sync.
Public booking pages
Each business gets a unique link (/book/your-name). Customers choose a service, pick an available time in their local timezone, and confirm with name and WhatsApp number.
Business owner dashboard
Sign up, manage services (name, duration, price), set weekly working hours, view today’s and upcoming bookings, mark completed or cancel appointments.
WhatsApp confirmations & reminders
After a booking, customers receive a WhatsApp confirmation. Scheduled reminders are sent for upcoming appointments. Cancellation notices go out when an owner cancels.
Email notifications
Customers may optionally add an email to also receive confirmation, reminder, and cancellation emails alongside WhatsApp.
Google Calendar two-way sync
Owners can connect Google Calendar. Busy events block booking slots. New bookings create calendar events; cancellations remove them. Connection is optional and can be disconnected anytime.
Timezone-aware scheduling
Businesses set their timezone. Customers see available times in their own local timezone. Appointment times are stored unambiguously for reminders and calendar sync.
Embeddable booking widgets
Copy iframe, popup button, or link snippets from Settings to place booking on your own website.
Availability engine
Open slots respect working hours, service duration, existing bookings, and (when connected) Google Calendar free/busy times — preventing double-booking.
Secure accounts
Business owners authenticate with email and password. Sessions use secure httpOnly cookies. Customer booking does not require a customer account.

Create your business account
Sign up with your business name and email. We generate a public booking URL and default working hours you can edit.

List your services, set hours and timezone, optionally connect Google Calendar, and customize WhatsApp message templates.

Share your link or embed widget. Customers book; you get dashboard updates while they get WhatsApp (and optional email) confirmations.
Google Calendar access
When a business owner chooses to connect Google Calendar, Velora Calendars requests permission to read free/busy information and create or delete events related to bookings made through our platform. We use this only to keep availability accurate and to mirror appointments on the owner’s primary calendar. Owners can disconnect at any time from Settings; we do not use Google data for advertising.
